The South Korea eTA
Tourists visiting South Korea short-term can apply for a South Korea eTA. The new Korea Electronic Travel Authorization is now available to citizens of more than 100 eligible countries.
From September 2021, all visa-free and visa-exempt foreign visitors need to register before traveling to South Korea.
Fortunately, the South Korea eTA can be easily obtained online. Completing the K-ETA application form is quick and easy. Most applicants receive the approved authorization within 2 days.
The K-ETA is for tourism, visiting family, attending meetings and events, and business trips.
